Fruit and vegetable supplier The Greenery UK has joined the British Tomato Growers’ Association to highlight its commitment to UK growers.

The British Tomato Growers’ Association represents over 90 per cent of commercial tomato growers in the UK and aims to create a clear identity for high quality, home grown tomatoes as well as providing a single contact point for media, government and research bodies.

It also wants to emphasize and reassure consumers that UK growing methods are both natural and complimentary to the product and to the environment, as well as advising them of the health benefits of tomatoes in their diets.
