Launched in parallel with the White Paper and the Biodiversity 2020 Strategy . Very difficult to  adjust brain to this when same documents suggest gardeners should stop using peat because of the damage they do to biodiversity  . Mr Titchmarsh could have a point !

Majestic Trees terminates contract with supplier because of stance on peat ban

Majestic Trees take action as a response to a substrate supplier who supported regulation to enforce peat removal from horticultural growers . Such action  shows  that growers still have ways of making a point if they think their livelihoods are threatened.
