TRIED AND TESTED LATEST

The new Tried and Tested nutrient management plan, developed by an industry partnership between LEAF, NFU, AIC, FWAG and CLA has been really well received by farmers, advisors and supporting organizations. Visit the Tried & Tested website to download the newly available electronic versions of the farm and field record sheets and have a look at the newly published Annual Survey of Fertiliser Practice 2008 which highlights a continuing decline in the use of phosphate and potash.

SPEAK OUT TOP TIP: THE FERTILISER STORY

GrowHow UK & LEAF have produced a great information sheet and supporting handout to help farmers to tell the fertiliser story on their farm. They look at how fertilisers help farmers grow food, whether farmers could manage without them and how farmers use fertisilers. To download the Information Sheet click here and the Eight Amazing Fertiliser Facts Handout click here. Limited hard copies of the handout can be obtained by emailing info@growhow.co.uk.
