Sam Gyimah is the new BEIS Minister with responsability for Agri-tech

    Sam Gyimah was appointed Minister of State for Universities, Science, Research and Innovation (jointly with Department for Education) on 9 January. Among his areas of responsibility is agri-tech.

The Minister has been a Member of Parliament for the past 7 years. He has previously been Minister for Prisons and Probation, Minister for Childcare, the Minister for the Constitution, a Government Whip and Private Secretary to former Prime Minister David Cameron.
